probably a dumb question, but I’ve always been told if you spray a can on a fire the flame can travel back into the can and explode.but i heard it won’t since theres no oxygen in the can so it can’t explode.so which is is?and don’t say it can to scare me away from it just tell me.
but if im just lighting the stuff comin out and it goes to the nozzle, not heating the can,can it explode?

a can that contains flammable chemicals explode is usually because the pressure in side the can increased significantly. when the pressure is high enough that the can cannot handle, it will explode.

the pressure inside the can can be increased by heating it up.
