thanks so much for … thanks so much for all these incredible videos! i’m a teen and i’ve resolute that i’d like to be more healthy because i like my body and want to keep it in excellent condition you have really opened my eyes to alot of things! thanks!
Then you will … Then you will consume muscle. Sicilian49 is right as far as there is always some stout on your body. NEVERTHELESS, when bodybuilders near competition time, they are VERY vunerable…and nearly always do, lose some lean muscle mass near competitiion time. The thought in the months before competition is to try to limit your stout loss to in this area 1/4 lb (4 oz.) per week.
That is impossible, … That is impossible, if you have to eat to live, you will have stout store in your body. There is no such thing as “there is no stout on your body”
well the treadmill … well the treadmill tells me im burning 700 calories also i am 37 and weigh 200 lbs. im guessing most marathon runners are around 160 lbs? im no expert but i believe this does make a variation in calories burned.
thank you for all … thank you for all these fantastic videos my friend .very informative and very well clarified.
i have only one question : i’m 1.67 i’m a man and i wish to know how exactly i must weight ?
idon’t have any chronic illness …
thank you for reading.
bye
You’re doing fantastic … You’re doing fantastic but you’re probably not burning that many calories. Marathoners running 13 mph burn 650 calories an hour.
@uzavas in this area 12 … @uzavas in this area 12 weeks, theoretically. you burn calories throughout the day, which adds to that, probably shortening that time, and if you eat well, that will help shorten the time as well.
hey fantastic vids man … hey fantastic vids man keep em up!
i have a question: i live in cleveland, ohio right off the lake and in the winter time, its freakin cold. ive been using my stairs to get in my cardio as opposed to running outside in the snow. how effective would you say stair climes are as opposed to running?
i run on the … i run on the treadmill 3 times a week for 40 minutes at a time at 6.5 mph burning around 700 calories each time…how long at this rate will it take me to lose 20 lbs? I just started bout a month ago.
Fantastic vid Steve, … Fantastic vid Steve, Job well done. I’m truly motivated for a change in getting in shape. These videos are EXTREMELY helpful. Also been listening to A LOT of your blog talk radio shows. Very Helpful, God Bless.
The running will … The running will develop your cardiovascular strength more. BUT for just pure calorie burn, it’s only slightly more then walking around the building. The walk will take you like 18-20 minutes on average. What I like in this area walking, especially as a weightlifter, is that it burns those calories without tiring out your muscles before the next days workout. Walking is an simple low impact way to burn calories without any risk of losing lean muscle tissue or coming to your lifting workouts tired.
Might be a stupid … Might be a stupid question, but I work in security, and when I guard the outside I usually run around the building. It’s like 1 mile. It takes me in this area 5 minutes… But, it will take longer if I just walk.
So, the question is, since you’re saying jogging isn’t THAT MUCH more efficient, must I walk instead for more calorie burn?
