You know what’s odd …
You know what’s odd is that Capitalism grows in a globalized economy, but Communism grows in a protectionist economy. The Soviet Union was prospering from protectionism when the U.S. and Europe was experiencing a Great Depression back in the 1930s.
Obama cannot establish a protectionist economy like Cuba and North Korea and even somewhat China, therefore he supports outsourcing American jobs to the world in favor of Capitalism and big business.

This is so sad…. I am so glad I live in the USA I would hate for my children to grow up in this atmosphere. When I was growing up in India, it was almost like being brought up by a whole community. My parents, grandparents, neighbors their neighbors and so on. Everyone was involved and cared for each other.

Also the unemployment rate, that is the unemployed people in the labor force who are looking for jobs, is now hovering around 10%. This is the result of a recession, not outsourcing. Stopping free trade will only slow the economic recovery, because of the higher prices people will have to pay for goods. They tried protectionism during the depression, it definately did not turn out well.

People don’t “take” jobs they earn them by working for a lower wage. The U.S. economy compensates for outsourcing by creating new job types, as well as benefiting from lower prices for thousands of goods and services. I’m sure some people were concerned about “saving” the jobs of blacksmiths, shoemakers and agrarian farmers in the 1800’s too, but the loss of those jobs led to the tremendous growth we benefit from today.
