If I’m mixing all of these supplements together after my workout, should I add a banana or something for carbs? If it is not recommended to take all these supplements together, what is the best way to do it?

Thanks in advance!

It’s preferable to take creatine on an empty stomach, and creatine is most effective when an insulin spike is produced. Most creatine mixes contain Maltodextrin which creates insulin spikes, but if you’re taking pure creatine, you should take it with fruit juice or a high sugar drink to increase absportion.

Also, it is not preferable you take creatine the same time as Glutamine (a common BCAA) as they can occupy same cellular receptors and inhibit effectiveness.

I recommend you take your creatine as you’re winding down your workout, then take your protein/bcaa shake roughly 30 mins afterwards.

Best of luck.
