715mg Proprietary Blend of d-Ribose, Taurine, Kre-Alkalyn, and Alpha-GPC.
2400mg of Omega 3 Fish Oil.
1000mg of L-Arginine.

Again, these are all less then recommended dosage unless noted. I exercise daily and eat healthy.
Is there a limit to dietary supplements it would be safe taking? Or since I am not taking more then I should is there nothing wrong with me taking all these? I have done this for weeks and not felt any negative side effects, but just making sure considering long term effects.
Izzy, you could not be more wrong. I have used dietary supplements and have been working out for years. I know what certain nutrients do but I am not familiar with the limits of nutrients. No need to be an asshole. And yes, I have seen positive effects of the supplements I take, otherwise I would not spend the money it takes to maintain them. I do not know if you know this, but there is no need to take supplements unless your already getting what you need. Most of the stuff I take are related to building and repairing muscle which is not normally found in food. Hard to believe you have 80% best answer with replies like that. Totally ignorant.

Too much protein is a strain on your kidneys

I am a 17 year old male who is about to start taking accutane in the upcoming weeks. After researching all about it, I still have questions about it.

So how about a basic questions first, am I allowed to workout while taking accutane? I read up on accutane and some of the side effects include joint pain and muscle soreness. I do a lot of weight training.

I’ve already read an earlier post about taking accutane along with creatine. I go to the gym three days a week and take creatine on those three days. From the other post, they said that the creatine does strain the liver, so I should not be taking the creatine with the accutane. Any more information about accutane and creatine would be appreciated.

Besides taking creatine, I also take whey protein six days a week. Does taking whey protein work well with the accutane?

The final supplement I take at the gym is glutamine. So does glutamine mix well with accutane?

So, enough about taking accutane with various supplements, how about other over the counter drugs. For example if have a headache in the future, is it okay to be taking Tylenol while on the accutane? Not necessarily taking them together, but while I’m still on accutane. Also when I have a cold, I tend to take Nyquil and Airborne (vitamin c supplements). Will there be any problems taking those drugs while on accutane? I believe Nyquil has small amounts of alcohol in it.

Also I take Tylenol Simply Sleep occasionally to help me go to bed. The drug in it is Diphenhydramine HCL. Is this okay with accutane?

I know there are a lot of questions, but accutane does come with a lot of side effects. Better to be safe than sorry. I appreciate all the help I can get, thank you.

Pick your poison my friend, clear face or a yolked frame?

Hi, i’m currently 18 years old and i used to work out but i stopped because i didn’t see any results. Now i’m motivated to work out again. i have been researching about what kinds of nutrition i should take daily. i found a workout routine and it also came with what to eat in 1 day. it said to take creatine, whey protein, and L-glutamine. i have researched these and i found no side effects that are bad. i am considering taking these but i wonder if i shouldn’t. I want to just get big and stronger. I hate how i’m so skinny. I have a bench set in my house where i work out following the routine i found on google. Are there any other nutrtions i should consider taking or are these enough? If you want to give me more advices please send them to my e-mail at: k33pitez@hotmail.com. Thank you for your time!
I have few sites but are these good sites to trust and buy from?
nutrabio.com, gnc.com, and vitacost.com
i found some other websites but these are the top three it showed up on google when i searched for the cheapest creatine.

I was once a skinny kid and had a really hard time gaining weight. I didn’t have anyone to advise me so I had to learn the hard way. After many years of hard work, at my peak fitness I weighed 190 at 5′6" and had a body fat under 6 %. Take my advice so that you can make progress faster than I did.
1. Don’t waste your money on supplements. Instead spend it on buying high quality food.
2. Eat at least 5 meals each day and never miss a meal. If you have to choose between missing a meal and missing a workout…skip the workout.
3. To calculate how many calories you need multiply your current weight by 17-18. This will keep you in a positive calorie balance and allow you to gain muscle on a steady basis without adding too much (if any) body fat.
4. Multiply your body weight by 1.5 to calculate how many grams of protein you need each day.
5. Train heavy each workout (no more than 8 reps per set).
6. Every 5 weeks take a recovery week where you train with lighter weights for 20 reps per set.
7. Train with only compound exercises (utilizing more than one joint and muscle group) and avoid isolation exercises. For example, Do squats, leg presses and lunges for your legs and spend little to no time doing leg extensions. Or do shoulder presses instead of lateral raises for you shoulders. Get it?
8. Give yourself time. You can’t speed up the muscle growing process. Finally, make sure you allow each muscle time to recover from the previous workout. If a particular muscle is still sore then give it more time to recover before you train it again. Your muscle growth takes place while you are RECOVERING from each workout and not DURING each workout.

Good luck.

I am taking a couple different supplements and i just wanted to make sure that it was okay to take all of them together without any harmful side effects..

I am taking:
-A B100 complex (B-Vitamins for Metabolism)
- L-Carnatine (Amino Acid for helping burn fat)
- L-Glutamine (Amino Acid aid muscles)
- Omega 3 Fish oil
-KreAlklyn a form of Creatine

Just wondering if it is okay to take all of them !!!

THAK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!
Happy Holidays

Provided there are no underlying health issues, and the dosages of the amino acids is reasonable, there’s no reason you cannot take these sups together.

It would be best to take them all with food (especially the fish oil, which cannot be properly absorbed if it isnt ingested with a meal.)

Based on the combo you’ve put together, and the descriptions you’re using, I’m betting that you’re trying to lose weight? Increasing the amount of protein (meat/legumes/nuts) in your diet will help keep you feeling full, providing complete nutrition and stabilize blood sugars (which makes you feel full longer.) And most of us dont get enough veggies – they should make up at least 50% of every meal!

Supplement-wise, though, you could also consider adding Chromium to the mix to help stabilize blood sugar control, which will also help beat cravings and act as a very mild appetite suppressant. Broccoli is a good natural source of chromium. If you’re going for pill form, look for a dosage of about 25-30 mcg.

Pimples has recently began showing up on my arms, neck, back, and face. I started taking Creatine a while back for my weight lifting and I think this is causing the acne break out. I take glutamine 1 hour before I lift and creatine after.

Can someone recommend another product that will not have these side effects are is this something I just have to live with?

Yes, I can make a recommendation. Stop using creatine and start focusing on eating and training properly. Unless you are in a bodybuilding or strength competition (where you need a little extra edge), creatine is totally unnecessary. I’ve been training 20+ years without creatine and I’m still gaining.

If you can’t gain without creatine, then there is something wrong with the way you eat or the way you train — or both.
